My 2019 F 250 engine light came on at 8000 miles. I took it to Legacy Ford for diagnosis and repairs. The service department contacted me 4 days later. I was told there was a foreign fuel additive in the tank for blue def that helps the emissions and a bad injector.
I only added ford recommended additive. They let me know they wouldn t warranty it and it would cost $ 5000.00 to repair it and I was upset since I paid 63K a month ago for the truck.
I contacted Russell and smith Ford. They picked the truck with a wrecker repaired the issue and I didn t have a bad injector. I received text everyday updating me on progress.
Picked the truck up today and there was no charge for the repairs.
