Do NOT buy a home from Icon. I purchased a brand new home in Oregon City from Icon about 13 years ago. They were negligent in installing the siding and rock work on my house. I am currently having to spend around $80,000 to repair the dry rot that has resulted from their negligence. The dry rot was so bad that major structural beams of my house had been eaten down to less than half the beam. I have contacted them and they sent their warranty guy out to inspect the damage. He couldn t deny that such damage should not exist in a 13 year old house. He reported back to the owner and will no longer return my phone calls. This company takes your money for shotty work and will not stand behind their work and do the right thing to repair it. Just about everyone I have spoken to in my neighborhood has had issues with their construction. You have been warned. Stay away from Icon built houses.
