Went there for dinner last night after not having been there in a while. While the Inn has maintained its same charm, and the staff were friendly, the food has definitely taken a dive. Ordered shrimp cocktail for starter. It was OK although I have had firmer, fresher elsewhere. Entree was a pasta dish that was supposed to contain crab - no crab was in it - instead it was served with a pile of shrimp on top that appeared to be cooked but again, not the texture of fresh shrimp.. I should have complained but ate it, as I was starving by the time dinner came and hadn't had much to eat during the day. Big Mistake - the shrimp were not fresh and should have been tossed. Instead they tossed it on my entree - paid the price and woke up sick as a dog in early morning hours and throughout today. Other comments - bread was like shoe leather and my husband's dinner was also not that impressive for the money. We dine out often, at some places better than others - even so, I rarely have given a place a bad review. However, with respect to Dilworthtown Inn, my advice is that there are better options for the money elsewhere in Chester County. By the way if you want fresh seafood and are willing to travel for it, try Seven Seas in Milford CT - they're one of the best.
