I've been a member of the Long Island Botanical Society for a year now and I can confidently say that they are excellent in their mission to promote local plant life. Their workshops are informative, interactive, and foster a sense of community. The staff and volunteers are always welcoming and strive to make every event enjoyable. Highly recommended!
