Sad to say, but the company has gone down hill over the past few years. I first learned of the Sonos products from a friend who was passionate about them. He told me they sounded great, were easy to install and use and had amazing customer service. I decided to purchase one. I was hooked. Everything he told me was true and I became a passionate user too. Everywhere I went I told friends and coworkers about it. I loved all six of my Sonos devices. Unfortunately I have to report that what started so well has become a real disappointment. Over the past year or so my system has become unreliable. From time to time my speakers drop out and I only get music in a few rooms or none at all. Another speaker keeps getting disconnected from my system and I have to reinstall it. The worst part is that I tried to reach the company to resolve my issues (like I did in the early days of my ownership) and and all I get is a request to submit information by email and wait days for a response. What happened to the world class customer support I remember? Sadly it is long gone. I can no longer passionately or even dispassionately recommend purchasing the Sonos product line. I am looking into other alternatives and will update my post when I find a better solution.
