I was in urgent need of a room for 1 night. I arrived at this location around 11:30 pm. I spoke to the front desk manager who apparently was in a hurry because when I asked her if they had any rooms available, she said whatever it was she said so quickly, I had to ask her to slow down and repeat herself. The second attempt wasn't any better. The young man that helped me informed me that they had a handicap accessible room and asked if I wanted the 1st or 2nd floor and I took the 2nd floor. Big mistake. The room appeared to be clean until I went into the bathroom. There was a Target bag in the bathroom garbage can with a douche feminine product visibly in it. I immediately went downstairs and asked for a refund. I also had my small dog with me that I paid a pet fee for. The young man at the front desk was nice however he only refunded the money I paid for the stay but not the pet fee. I was in the room no more than 4 minutes. I was completely disgusted and agreed to sleep on someones couch because I did not feel comfortable trying to get a different hotel/room. Oh and for it to be a smoke free facility, I still have a hard time trying to figure out why there were burn marks in the carpet. I definitely won't be staying here again.

Update: The company responded and stated that my pet fee was refunded and as of 7/23/19 it has not. There is no reverse charge nor credit to my account for the pet fee. I am very disappointed and I would like to be contacted immediately.
