The first night I spent in Cairo was at Sonesta. Very spacious hotel and the rooms were good. They have a great mound and some good restaurants. I freaked out at 2am when fireworks popped a part of wedding celebration. I panicked thinking it was some terrorist activity only to know they were fireworks. Welcome to Cairo!
