My wife and I visited Gidleigh Park today to sample their 7 course tasting lunch. What a fabulous all round experience we had. From the very first moment as we walked through the door the service from the friendly and knowledgable staff was excellent. We had been looking forward to this lunch for some time and it didn't disappoint. The food was truly exceptional, adventurous, well balanced and flavour packed. Since it was a special occasion for us, we both opted for the wine tasting flight to accompany our meal, which was fabulous. Congratulations to the Chef Michael Wignall for creating such a wonderful tasting experience and a lunch that will live long in the memory. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Well done and thank you.
