My mothers surgery went long. No one would update...

My mothers surgery went long. No one would update me on her status in recovery for an hour and a half. I started to have a personal problem and needed a new pad. The gift shop doesn't sell pads and no where in this entire huge hospital could they find female sanitary products. They didn't even have a bathroom vending machine. I guess they prefer to only have male patients and visitors. This hospital stuck in the past century.
