Lets start with facts

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers are twin skyscrapers. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remain the tallest twin towers in the world. Standing 452 metres tall, the Petronas Twin Towers retained its world-title claim to fame until 2004 when Taipei's 101 was built, measuring 508 metres tall. Today, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (opened in 2010) retains the spot as the world s tallest building. Located in the KL city centre, the Petronas Twin Towers architecture is Islamic-inspired and the buildings primarily house the corporate headquarters of the Petronas Company and other offices.

Now my experience

No trip to KL would be complete without a visit to the world's tallest twin towers. A restricted number of tickets are given at the counter on a first come first served and the queue can start as early as 7 am. My friend and I were there on a Saturday morning at 8h30 and they were already sold out

I wasn t going to give up this easily so we got back earlier on Sunday and got tickets =]

A high speed elevator zooms you up to the 41st floor and you are allowed to spend 10 minutes on the bridge. The view is beautiful and very bright for pictures. Good place to visit.

Just remember go early or you will miss out.
