Have had many horrible experiences through the years... Waiting 6hrs just for a room, 4 more hrs to even see a nurse, and on some occasions, never even seeing a doctor! I had also been misdiagnosed on 3 separate occasions... The most frightening experience was with my son, who was only 5 at the time, and a fever so high that the thermometer read 148 or err. At sign in, the nurse read it at 151... After an hour of waiting, I spoke with the woman at the front desk and she told me it could be hours more because he had a "low grade" fever!! With the wait time never faster than an hour, it's worth the 45 min drive to Louisvilles ER instead! At least you'll get a correct diagnosis and treatment!
