How disappointed we were when we walked in in our room for our little romantic getaway. As you can see from the picture included this room was not clean. Ball of hair in the jacuzzi tub, hair on the floor of the bathroom, floor in general had stains and food residue all over. The bedside table dusty and dirty. Call the front desk not able to get someone on the phone been waiting 20 min to get somebody to call us back. I wish there was an option for less than one star because this kind of behavior from mid to high end hotel is unaceptable. We finally got a call from the switch desk saying they couldn't reach the front desk so our best bet was to go downstairs and try to speak to somebody. Now to be fair the person at the front desk was really quick to turn around and give us another room right away and take out 50$ off our rate. The second room they gave us was a cleaner. Still some stains on the floor but at least it looked like it was wash are attempted to be wash.
We have been coming to this place since 2012 and we have seems this place go from our favorite hotel to what we experience today. It is sad but we will have to find a new place to stay in Niagara in the future. Note to the manager: you never have a second chance to make a good impression. Even though we were given a new room and a 50 credit this incident did put a little shadow on our stay. And this is something you always remember.
