My wife and I grew up in Findlay, so every time that we visit we always stop in to get some ice cream and chocolate-covered pretzels, as well as a quart for the road (they'll pack it in dry-ice if you let them know how far your going). The owners are older and can be a bit curmudgeon, but I haven't had a bad experience there since I was young. Most of the staff are local high school and college students that are very efficient and courteous. The ice cream really is that good. They've been voted I'm the top 3 best ice cream parlors in the USA. I didn't know what I had until I didn't have it any longer and other ice cream parlors do not hold a candle to Dietsch's.
