Mixed feelings about this place.
Great gift shop and visitor center.
It is one of many houses,houses Mark Twain lived in.
Obviously this is a great source of pride,and employment for Hartford.
But Mark Twain/Samuel Clements died in Redding Connecticut.
I also believe he is buried in a family plot in New York.
So for some reason,Mark Twain turned his his back on Hartford Connecticut.The man headed for pastures greener.
Maybe he had bad memories here,it was an unlucky house.
Maybe he didn't get on with the neighbors.
We will never know.
Just bare this in mind when visiting the house.
