Everytime either myself or a family member comes to this hospital we have bad experiences. I was brought in by Ambulance and I didn't see a doctor till I was there for about 45 mins. The nurse was the one that got me all checked in. After finally seeing the doctor, he ordered some test and some xrays. All the nurses were very nice and helpful and so was the doctor when I finally got to see him. After all my test results came back the doctor decided to admit me into the hospital so that I could have a nuclear stress test first thing the next morning. I laid in the hallway in a bed for 14 hours.....couldn't get no rest as its very loud in the hallway. I was told that there was no beds/rooms upstairs so this is where I had to stay. Yes, the nurses was nice enough to give me ear plugs and something to cover my eyes with. When a person is sick the last thing they need is to lay in a bed in the hallway. The next morning around 7am my personal family doctor was making her rounds and she seen that I was admitted, but couldn't find me until she was told that I was still in the ER. My doctor also told me that someone should be around soon to get me to have the stress done. Nobody came to get me for my test, so at 10:30 am that same morning I asked to leave as I was tired of everything that I had been thru. I signed paperwork to be released and left! I followed back up with my doctor the next day to have the stress test scheduled.

This is NOT the first time that NO beds/rooms were NOT avaibable!! My brother was brought in via ambulance in April 2019 from a heart attack. He was also admitted and we was told that there was no beds/rooms upstairs. He stayed in the ER for 8 hours and I finally decided to have him discharged on my own and I took him myself to Gulf Breeze Hospital ER. He was admitted there and placed in a room upstairs.

FWBMC you need to add more beds/rooms for this very reason!! It is NOT giving you a very good reputation!!
