The Thyssen Museum is the perfect complement to the Prado Museum: it offers paintings of the artistic styles that are missing in the Prado Museum or that are poorly represented because their funds are in stores, such as Dutch paintings. My favorite plant is the first one: there is the wonderful painting of the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century. In addition, there are two rooms of North American painting. My favorite Thyssen work is the spectacular portrait of Lady Millicent, by the great John Singer Sargent.
