I've been a customer since this location opened, and although the service was originally excellent, they have steadily declined in the past 3 years.
After recently returning from overseas, I had them look over my 2008 Grand Cherokee as it had only been run and driven once in a while and likely had some issues.
I dropped it off on a Monday, didnt hear anything until Wednesday where all I was told was they couldn't give me an estimate and they were waiting on parts. They literally couldnt even tell me what needed to be repaired because the mechanic who looked at it was at some school for the rest of the week... really? 5 days from initially dropping it off they finally told me what needed fixing and the estimated cost.
Skip to the next Thursday (9 Business days in the shop with 2 whole calls from them to update me) and they finally fixed all the issues... or so I thought.
I'm driving along and as I'm entering a culdesac, I hit a pothole and start hearing a scraping/clicking. I pull over and look and my rear passenger side shock is just hanging there. I look at the pot hole. No sign of the bolt that secures it. I look at the shock itself not a single remnant of a bolt.
So the options are:
A)
This dealership which shows clear signs of being lazy and having no interest in customer satisfaction didn't put the bolt back in, and the pothole knocked the unsecured shock loose. Potentially destroying my wheel or worse if it had happened at high speed.
B)
The bolt they just looked at sheered and magically disintegrated (in the 10 feet I drove after the pothole I hit at 15mph) to the point not a single remnant could be found and the original hole didnt strip at all (I've already replaced it myself and had no problem putting a new one back in)
Any chance of giving them the benefit of the doubt that this magical scenario happened vanished when I called them to tell them the vehicle they just charged me thousands to work on had such a failure.
I was met with. "Huh, that's not good. I can get you in on the 28th." Yeah let me wait another 2 weeks to fix YOUR mistake. Great customer service...
Avoid this place like the plague. They don't care anymore and it shows.
