Miami is definitely in the midst of a food renaissance. While every restaurant claims a fresh claim to "Mediterranean influence" Tamarina really has it. This is easily one of the best meals I have had in my entire life.
We chose to do the tasting menu, and were taken through a delicious selection of oysters, raw bar, pasta, roasted seafood, and the most delicious tiramisu I have ever had.
On top of the incredible food, the wine pairings were outstanding, the decor was so relaxing and chic, and the service was flawless. That's right- the line you almost never hear about Miami, the sunny place for shady people.... this restaurant had knowledgeable skilled waitstaff.
Run, don't walk to Tamarina.
