5 Stars but not for the dealership... Since I can ...

5 Stars but not for the dealership... Since I can only leave one review, I will give you the BAD and the GOOD in this review - 1 STAR for the dealership as a whole / my overall experience and 5 STARS for the folks that went above and beyond to be sure I was happy & satisfied.

Overall the service I received during the entirety of my purchase was aggravating & frustrating. Do not get me wrong, I love my vehicle now but the process to get to this point was difficult. The lack of communication at this dealership is terrible. I felt as though I was bothering certain employees when I would call and check on the status of my vehicle. Several times I was told that a certain employee would check on the status and call me back to let me know and that employee would never call. Not only was the service not up to par, the building is in need of repairs. I was there when it was raining and there were buckets out where the building was leaking and exposed ceiling tiles in the main lobby and the ladies restroom. Management needs an overhaul and the building needs one too.

It is also frustrating to me that in order for the sales team to receive their full commission on my sale, a Google Review is necessary. I am not sure if this is how all dealerships handle their reviews but to me holding a commission over someone's head to get a google review is ridiculous. One other thing I should point out is the online pricing is only honored if you use their financing and if you trade a vehicle. Ex. if the online price is $28,000, if you do not use their financing $1,000 is added back in to the sales price and if you do not trade a vehicle another $1,000 is added back into the price so you would pay $30,000 for a car that is listed online for $28,000. This again might be normal protocol but I did not see any fine print stating this.

Now for the good...
I cannot speak highly enough of Hadley (Sales), Mrs. Joy & Mrs. Carolyn. All three ladies went above and beyond to be sure that I was happy and informed. I also cannot speak highly enough of CJ in the Paint & Body Department of their sister dealership at Chiefland Ford, he was super informative and asked that I call him at noon the following day, he beat me to it and call me at 12:08 to give me an update.

It is refreshing when employees communicate, do what they say they will and provide great customer service, this is something the others at Chevrolet Buick GMS of Quincy could learn from.
