I've always walked by here and didn't think much of Brattle Book Shop, but after stopping by I was impressed. They set up their discounted books outside when the weather cooperates. These range $1-5 dollars but you can find some good books if you don't mind them being kinda beat up. The inside is much larger than what appears from the street. They have quite a selection and even have books in shelves behind the shelves! They claim to be the oldest continuously run used book shop in America, which I wouldn't be surprised. I recommend a stop since it's so close to downtown and to the Washington St. shopping area. It's also not far from the common and the T.
