Great experience, went there for the afternoon tea and tour, all very charming. A lot of food is included in the high tea so make sure you show up on time to enjoy it. The palace and grounds are beautiful and the tour was informative. I don't understand the huge fuss about requiring an advance reservation -- on a prior trip to Hyd we trekked there only to find that they didn't allow you to dine at any of the restaurants without a prior reservation, but really a reservation only took a call on the day of.
