I have a low opinion of conveyancing, a wretched business model in a race to the bottom driven by a lack of innovation and investment by legal profession against a a modern digital world where consumers have higher expectations of service and information outputs.

That said my experience of Smith & Co in a recent purchase in Ipswich marina was good, fairly priced and handled efficiently. Nice to see they have a case management and workflow tool for event notification (receipt of deposit, start of searches etc (more of this please law society)). Good administrative support for the partner too.
