My daughter and I love the puppets. So it was hands down no question to become a member. We went today 7/20/2016 to see Sleeping Beauty. It was awesome, as my daughter would say. We usually get there early to get great seats but we just did get there 10 before curtains opened today. But I did take a star away today because I didn't not appreciate spending my hard earn money to be treated a certain way. Because I'm a young looking woman of color, that I can't afford or wouldn't be interested in becoming a member because of the color of my skin. I was stopped just before member seating and asked where did i want to sit after that point. I was puzzled. Thinking to myself I bring my baby girl every other week and paid good money for the perks, so why would I want to seat in back? The usher saw the look on my face and became puzzled as well and stated to me, well that's the best he could do. WTH! I became more confused. Then he glaced down at my tickets.... oh wow okay you are a member, you can sit in the member section. He said. Are you kidding how dare you. I'm a hard working, young looking (because of good genes, no alcohol or drugs ) single mother,but I am off age. I work hard to be able provide my children with the greater things in life that they appreciate and love.
