Mike is the tech sent out to maintain my A/C under my gold seal. I watched as he worked and a little conversation. I told Mike that in the past years other tech's kept attaching a wire to the wrong contact, causing the fan to run constantly. His answer was he took pictures so that would not happen. Unfortunately it did. I had to call Isaac again, just like every other time, to get someone out to place the capacitor wire on the right contact. It was dark when Liam arrived. He followed the wiring diagram and found the wire that was connected to the wrong contact. He placed the wire where it belongs and double checked the diagram just to make sure. I set and reset the thermostat to make sure the fan came on and off. Now it is working fine. I always let the tech know about putting the wire on the right contact, but I don't think they listen to me. This same problem has been happening for many years. Some of these techs are new, but that is no excuse for not listening to the home owner. Liam listened to me and corrected the problem in minutes. If I continue with Isaac in the future, I will ask for Liam. I've been with Isaac for 28 years. I purchased my A/C and new furnace from them, as well as paying for gold seal. This year I decided not to go with gold seal on the furnace. I feel that the furnace is new and should not have problems. The Trane A/C is 28 years old and defiantly needs the gold seal. I'm considering going with another company because after all the problems, Isaac hasn't done anything extra for me to make up for all the problems that their techs leave me with. I'm disabled and don't need any more problems. In my opinion, Isaac isn't the company it use to be.
