Paid $420 for one night on a Wednesday for 'Opera House View' room. Received a room on the 5th floor which is the lowest floor of 36 floors that rooms commence. Our 'view' looked directly onto the building next door and their BBQ eating area with a giant sign on the building looking into our room. No view of the Opera House or Circular Key from our bed.
If you stood at the glass and peered left you get a great view and hearing of the freeway so close that we can see the registration plates on the cars. If you look past the building in front you see the top of the Opera House Sails peering over the building. Was never told it was a significantly obscured view of the Opera House. The actual view was nothing similar to the pics shown on your promo of the room. I doubt there were no available rooms higher than the lowest floor we were given. For $420 we expected a decent view at least even if the room was dated.
You misled us stating we had a room titled Opera House Views. The room was very dated. Really disappointed overall. On departure the lady at reception never asked if we enjoyed our stay and seemed apathetic so we didn't raise anything as it would have been to no avail. I just wont return.
