I normally don't write reviews BUT this is the worst service center I have EVER been to. I got a new 2014 Ford Escape Titanium through J. C. Lewis Ford this past October of 2013. The sales person was great. He helped me find the right vehicle that fit in my price range. They were extremely helpful! No complaints on that end. Now in February of 2014 (4 months after), I have been having nothing but issues with the service center at J. C. Lewis. NO ONE knows what they are doing there. I have never received such horrible customer service. I brought my vehicle in around 11:00 am to do regular maintenance and have my steering wheel looked at. After only FOUR MONTHS of having the vehicle, the controls on the steering wheel have stopped working. I dropped by the dealership to see if they could work on my vehicle that day. I was told that the person who would be able to fix it, wasn't there. So I scheduled an appointment for the day he was supposed to be there. I arrive at my scheduled appointment, and the appointment that the lady had scheduled me for, wasn't there. So I was told I needed to reschedule. The next week, I arrive for the NEW appointment at 11:00 am. I drop my car off and wait in the waiting room until I am called around 2:00 pm. I am told THREE HOURS later, that the technician who can fix it, isn't in today. I ask to speak with a manager, and he tells me that no, the technician IS in. He tells me to come back another day because they are so backed up. I ask if they at least completed the normal maintenance on the vehicle that I had requested (oil change, tire rotation, etc). He informs me that they did. So I go home and on the way home, my 'check oil' light comes on. I went to my old dealership (Toyota) to see if they did in fact complete the maintenance they told me they did. Well, they did NOT. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to another Ford dealership. I will be driving an extra 30 miles this week to get my car fixed in South Carolina over wasting another day at J.C. Lewis Ford.
