Cristopher Silva Review of Midtown Honda
I agree and disagree with several of the complaint...
I agree and disagree with several of the complaints/comments in regards to Midtown Honda.
I have used their service for about 3 years and I am only now changing dealerships/companies simply due to the lack of power and features Honda has.
First things first, the service department. A little patience never hurt anybody. I don't mind having to wait an hour to get serviced as I'm not the typical Canadian always in a RUSH to do something. They are friendly, informative, and helpful and provide good service for your Honda vehicle. Charging rates are standard and the repairs are done well.
Secondly The SALES Department. On purchasing my first honda i was way overcharged. I ended up paying 26,000 for a vehicle that's 12,000 simply because of Interest (i had like a 200% Interest Rate that still astounds me). The 2008 honda civic had some weird issues that were never really remedied, such as clicking brakes which could have been the transmission for all i knew. So i ended up trading it in for a 2015, Firstly i wanted the SI Model. Then after completing my down payment, signing forms and such i was told that they cannot give me the SI i wanted and i could only really afford to buy the lx, which is what i'm driving now. I wanted a vehicle in standard, within the 30 days i had busted my knee and now I am very limited on how much i can drive before having severe pain which stops me from driving (I avoid any reason that would get me in a collision, so knee pain driving a standard (Manual) vehicle is good enough to plant me at home). I was trapped by the sales department in regards to purchasing this 2015 vehicle. I was less than impressed.
All in all, i do not want another honda vehicle. The brand is tarnished for me. The cars are slow, always behind the curve in comparison to other cars.
Shoot im considering getting a volkswagen. That should tell you how much my opinion of Honda has been tarnished.
