The ultimate location in Lake Louise is the only accommodation ON Lake Louise. Supremely gracious staff will provide you with anything you might need, and the on-site restaurants are all superb. While the rooms pack all of the amenities you might need, their snugness does not match the luxurious nature of the remainder of the Chateau. However, if you are lucky enough to have a view of the lake from your room, you simply won't care about anything else. That view, alone, is worth all of the expense of your stay at the Fairmont.
