Not suited for families. Dirty looks from guests and staff throughout our stay.

Stayed over Christmas and had two phone calls from reception on Christmas Day summoning us to reception as our children were too noisy?? It was Christmas Day they were in our room yet the couple next door complained and we were then ostracised for the rest of our stay.

The duty manager made a point of sitting and speaking to all hotel guests (there was not that many) yet ignored us the whole time. Sue our waitress kept making a point of telling my son to eat all of his cereal or he could not have anything else? I am not sure she meant to be rude but really it was none of her business and she kept politely telling the kids off for minor things.

We were the only young family there and were made to feel completely unwelcome. Some of the staff made an effort (Annie was lovely).

Great location and food was good but if you are a family with young kids give this place a miss you will not be made to feel welcome.
