A true art venue in a delicately serene area of Madrid. The Thyssen collection is impressive, ranging from pre-Renaissance to contemporary art (fortunately not too much of it). There's always the added bonus of an extra exhibition that's more often than not connected to the museum's trove. Magnificent.
