If there's one thing you do on a visit to St. Louis, it's see the arch. The views from the top are absolutely terrific. I'd recommend watching the 30 minute documentary before going up the arch. It doesn't cost much more and it's filled with rich history. If you have an America The Beautiful national parks pass, be sure to bring it for a discount! I was kicking myself when I forgot mine.
