I took my wife here for pain in her ankle after falling on our stairs. The staff was completely rude. Acted as if the sick patients were a burden. We signed in a little after 10P.M and sat in the waiting room for about 5 hours before getting a room. ( they were not very busy at all in the waiting room or in the back). She sat in pain for hours. We watched people come and go and we still sat in the waiting room in pee stained chairs. When they finally got her back to the room after 6 hours we noticed the dirty blood stained sheets and used bandages on the floor. The nurse that handled her injury was 1 of the most rudest people I have came across in a long time. She had a attitude from the 1st word that came out of her mouth until the last. They did xrays with her still wearing her wrap( which contained metal) and left us to sit a few more hours while in the mean time they treated her pain with a 100mg Motrin.! When we finally spoke to a doctor she was in the room for about 90 seconds I don t recall her even looking at the injury she insisted on a air cast and crutches and following up with our pcp. In her words not mine I m not sure if anything is broken or not . I have documented pictures of the condition of the er and the room we were placed in. Not to mention the fact that she was in a wheel chair and they had her pushing her injured self around the hospital.I will be reaching out to hospital management Monday morning. Save your self the time and go to a hospital worth going to. Typically we would drive into Louisville but she was in a lot of pain so we decided to go closer to home. Never again. Lesson learned trust the google reviews. Their not worth 1/16th of the money they charge. If you can make it to Louisville go there instead.
