I have been buying candy from Aschers for years and was always a very happy customer. But this last time (the end of August) I bought my usual $60 worth. I bought a bag of milk choc pieces . Sounds good. I get them home, and they are broken Easter candy?!? Not exactly sure when Easter was this year, but the latest it could be is the middle of April. That puts the candy at at least 4 months. When I opened the bag, the chocolate was ashen and hard as a rock. I had to throw it away. I can t imagine what they were thinking? Certainly they know chocolate goes bad. It was only $7.50, but it is the principal.
