Review of Sofitel Silom Bangkok

I didnt like the room...there was no carpet or par...

I didnt like the room...there was no carpet or parquet flooring....white marble hard floor with lots of stains on floor...even after housekeeping u feel the flooring is not clean and can see the darkened stains all over again. Hotel ambient surrounding is darken and dull throughout the corridors...looks creepy. The cups and glasses in the room were smooth coated without hilding surface or ear lobe to hold on to...i accidentally slipped and broke one after shower with wet fingers. Duty manager was nice to call to check i was hurt after learning from housekeeping after knowing i was ok...duty manager was going to bill me for that cup which break and shattered on dropping to marber flooring....i was annoyed and puzzled by that....they should have considered the design safety with the hard marble flooring before choosing to place so many glass item in the room. hotel quite a walking to the BTS. Road jams during peak hours if u need to get to work leave early.
