Due to serious back pain, my very elderly father had an appointment at the hospital in his own place of residence. The waiting time for this was more than 9 weeks. After two weeks it was no longer possible. After an afternoon call with various hospitals we arrived in Ede. What seems? The next day there was a possibility to be seen by the specialist and an appointment for MRI was made. This MRI was made on Tuesday; the result would come on Wednesday. Due to my father's age, the distance to Ede, and the extremely high temperatures on those days, this was also possible by telephone. All in all, my father now knows where he stands and that it was done at least 7 weeks earlier than in his own place of residence. A maximum score for Gelderse Vallei Hospital.
