My 2 year old adopted hamster, Cotton from SPCA, had a sudden prolapsed eye which needed immediate attention. We literally rang all the exotic vets around HK but were all too full to see her even as emergency. We were so desperate as we knew our little girl was in pain.

However the SPCA (HK Center) after hearing our desperate plea and who despite being also full allowed us to go to the clinic and wait for a chance to be seen by a vet.

We didn't have to wait long. Although we had to euthanize my little girl in the end, we are really really grateful and appreciated that the SPCA gave us a chance to end her pain earlier. (A promise we gave her that she'll never suffer again as our family member)
