The conference I attended was next door, no actually connected, to the Omni at the World Conference Center. The Omni was so poorly managed that only two of the six elevators would operate at any given period of time. You had a 30 minute wait to go to your room after a long day of sessions. It took more than an hour for me to check out due to the mess-ups of people's accounts and only a few number of clerks working the system. When I finally did check-out, I was still charged state taxes, which I was not supposed to after presenting a tax exempt form upon check in. Staff could not print me a copy of the receipt because the printer was out of toner and couldn't be replaced or be sent to another printer. The valet situation was a nightmare with a few number of attendants on the last day of the conference (not to mention there was a gaming tournament going on as well). Lots of people go to conferences for the continental breakfast. The conference was much better than my hotel stay.
