Selma Fonseca Review of The Little Nell

So after having bad service at Ajax tavern we moved downstairs to the Little Nell Hotel pool area where there were a restaurant and bar.
No one welcomes us or asked if we wanted drinks for 15 minutes. Finally, we asked someone if we could be served. There were 3-4 waiters and a manager talking to each other but not helping the customers.
It took at least 30 minutes to get our drinks, meanwhile the place is empty there was one table with 4 people that s it.
The outdoor fire pit doesn t work, 5-star Hotel, and the fire pit is broken? Wow!
So I asked 3 different waiters for a blanket they all ignored me, finally a waiter by the name of Alex brought me one.
There is always the excuse of COVID, we are not doing that or the other because of COVID, but I know they are only excuses because at other places people are serving without a problem.
The waiters never asked us if we wanted to eat or brought us a menu meanwhile it s was dinner time - 7:30 pm.
They didn t fill up our glass with water.
They don t serve the water with ice or ask if we wanted ice.
No one upstairs when we got back
And we are paying $25 for a glass of rose wine from a winery that I never heard of.
If you are charging that price at least have Miraval, Whispering Angel, or Domaine Ott.
I asked for ice on the side for my rose wine, but the waiter Nate forgot the ice.
In order for a Hotel to receive a 5-star rating, they must serve a drink in 4 minutes.
This is for sure not a 5-star restaurant.
Service in aspen is really going down.
From my experience, the only place you can get good service right now is the Hotel Jerome.
