I tried the Pernod Absinthe on a recommendation. It's wonderful. Watching the bartender make it is a treat. The anise notes makes the taste quite black licorice heavy but the absinthe is smooth and easy to drink. I might order the Butterfly Classic Absinthe next visit since it's a sweeter, less licorice heavy taste after trying a friend's. Glad I tried the classic Pernod though. Amazing place. I wanted to shake my head at anyone ordering beers or not even trying the absinthe.
