I was a guest at this hotel November 24th with my girlfriend. The hotel itself is very lovely and we had been to Omni multiple occasions. This time around my car was valeted and upon picking my car back up it was damaged. My entire front bumper was detached. Full disclosure: stupidly I did not do a walk around the car as I usually would do as I was in a hurry but I grabbed the keys from the valet and drove to a gas station that was approximately a half a mile down the street. It was there that I discovered the damaged. Obviously freaking out I returned to the hotel about seven minutes after my departure.

Now I want to be totally fair. I realize that i left the property so from an insurance standpoint they want to waive all liability. That s their job. I get it. However I don t think the way they handled the situation. Was very professional. The valet attendant all but said I was lying about my car being damaged. It also took them over a month to finally get in touch with me to tell me about my car when I was told it would be less than 10 business days. I was told that they would comp my valet charge for the evening as well and they never did. I was still charged the $50 for the night.

All in all I had a horrible experience with the valet and I suppose by association the hotel. I will never return to this establishment again. The situation was handled that poorly.
