Would have been 2-stars because the receptionist really messed up during my checkout and might have ruined my life (long story). Note to receptionists - if a guest tells you to keep a VERY important delivery for pick up later that day, don't go off your shift without telling anyone.
However, the concierge (Ro), the manager (Stephen) and the staff went out of their way to help me (the manager was on the phone to UPS for an hour!) and with the help of UPS managed to rescue the situation (and my marriage!). The hotel itself was a little tired in the communal areas but the bed, pillows, bathroom, toiletries, shower and TV were all fantastic. It all paled into insignificance in the end and the rating is just to reflect their effort to recover from their mistake (and my relief!).
