Old Absinthe House is old, dark and a bit grungy but what place on Bourbon street isn't. It's all part of the character of New Orleans. They have your a variety absinthe and the bar-tenders aren't too bad. If you want a drink that isn't just beer or a syrup sugar mixed, mildly alcoholic beverage, they are more skilled then any other bartender on Bourbon St.
