I have been to a few theatres across London, and OK, this one doesn't have the glamour nor charm of some of the more famous West End ones. That said, it felt welcoming and unpretentious with comfortable seats. I went to see Spassky vs Fischer there recently, and I was pleasantly surprised as a first timer to this venue. Definitely worth a visit.
