I hope whoever runs this facility burns in Hell. Over and over and over. Actually, Hell would be too nice of a place for those at UHS. They re pure evil. Satanic, even. Rockford is a FOR-profit psychiatric chain of hospitals that go around assaulting their young patients. One of the largest behavioral health operators in the nation, UHS facilities have a history of violence, sexual assaults, lax security and patient deaths. Then why the hell do they still exist?! This place is worse than a damn prison. By far. If you re thinking of taking your loved one here or coming to Rockford yourself, I ve got one word for you: don t. Just don t. You will not leave the same person at all. And I mean that. It will traumatize you. It will change you. Not for the better. At all. You d be better off at Wilmington Hospital or your loved one. Barely.

You ll wonder if where you went was even real as you ll doubt that such a place even exists. You will be treated like a lab rat. Given drugs until you re sedated, isolated from your family and friends, and threatened on a daily basis.

You ll even worry about who will take your life first in this place: fellow patients or the staff, or yourself. When I was a patient in my teens back in 2005-06, I didn t believe I would ever make it out of there. At all. It is a frightening place to ever be placed or to place someone. I cannot wait until this disgusting excuse of a hospital is leveled by a damn bulldozer. I ve seen staff, when I was a teenager and a patient here, beat a deaf girl because she couldn t communicate with them and they were frustrated . Never saw her again. I saw a girl get her leg broken by a young male patient who was incredibly violent. I witnessed a grown man try and grab a young girl in a hallway during cafeteria time. Had he have gotten ahold of her, he likely would ve raped her.

I was drugged in my sleep the very night that I got there and I still, to this day, do not even remember what they had given me at this facility.

These reviews only tell a brief synopsis of the horrific truth of this place. Why the hell would someone lie about what this place has put them through? We re not lying. And if given the chance, we would all speak out against Rockford Center. So in conclusion, may Rockford Center rot in Hell. We will never, and I mean ever, forgive those who traumatized us at this decrepit facility.
