A group of three towers combinedly form Kuwait Towers. The largest one, 187 high, carries two separate spheres. The bottom half of the lower sphere is a water tank that holds 4500 cubic metre water. The upper half is a restaurant. The upper sphere, smaller in size, is a revolving viewing deck. A second tower also holds a sphere with 4500 cubic metre of water. The third tower holds some equipment to light and support the two towers. This spectacular landmark of Kuwait is designed by Danish architect Malene Bjorn and constructed in 1979.
