I had a great first impression as the location was perfect and I was greeted by 2 friendly valets (Nick and David) and then entered the gorgeous lobby! Wow what a gorgeous hotel! I wish I took a picture of the lobby it is so gorgeous. Ramon assisted me at check-in and he was very delightful and didn't mind answering a few questions that I had. The other gentleman at the front desk even mentioned a historic fact about the hotel. Ive never stayed at a hotel this unique and detailed, all the other hotels have all been about the same. I told my boyfriend it felt more like we were staying in a studio apartment and not a hotel. When you go be sure to find out the historic facts there are so many! We were so close to a lot of restaurants which was perfect for our weekend stay. When we checked out Max made it hard to leave, he gave such great customer service and that's hard to find these days. Mary was nice and held our luggage at the valet office until we were ready for James to pull up our vehicle. He was excellent as well! He pulled our vehicle up in a timely manner with a smile! I'm really glad that we stayed at the Seelbach. There are a lot of great hotels in Louisville but I'd want to stay here again. Great experience! Very clean, lovely, great staff, above par hotel experience and convenient location!
