This past weekend I took delivery of a new Jetta and I had one of the very best experiences at City Volkswagen of Chicago!! As an experienced car buyer of many Volkswagens and non-Volkswagens alike throughout the years, I thoroughly appreciated the no-nonsense, straightforward and open approach this dealership took in helping me achieve my car buying goals. Where many dealerships are more interested in seeing how quickly they can just get you to commit to any car to get you signed-up and out of there, I really felt that this dealership really took the time to understand what my car buying goals were and went the extra "mile" to make sure they met me at my very specific car buying needs.

Alex Paszkowski, who was my salesperson, was very knowledgeable, personable and easy to talk to. He actually made this particular car buying experience fun and exciting for me. Partly because of his no-pressure approach, but also because he really made you feel like you were car shopping with the best friend whose car buying opinions you actually trust and that make sense. I drove off happy from the car lot, content and satisfied that I was leaving with an excellent car as well as with a truly amazing deal. So much so so that, and this may sound rather tacky and perhaps a bit cliche', that I actually began to wonder when would be the next occasion I would return to lease/purchase another vehicle from them.

I have to point out that the general manager, Sam Lotta, was also fantastic in his craft as both a salesman and also as a sales leader to his team. Sam helped me with some of particulars of the deal and vehicle I was looking for. I appreciated his thorough knowledge of his products and specials along with his acute attention to detail (i.e. the centered plate install, thanks Sam :-)). There was never any effort to create smokescreens or diversions. Sam was clearcut, direct, and understood what I was trying to accomplish with this particular vehicle. In summary, he got me exactly what I wanted, period.

Lastly, Brent Alexander in Finance, did an amazing job at making sure that my particular deal through my company was processed and met the required items exactly as needed (believe me, many deanship finance people really get company contracts wrong, a lot!, but not Brent)

In summary, I would say that I strongly recommend City Volkswagen of Chicago to anyone that wants the peace of mind to know that they will have a car buying experience that is both satisfying and that will leave you happy you picked them as your dealership of choice.
