We stayed in a Ranch room in Francis Scott Key Resort, which offered sleeping for 4 with a bath, microwave, mini fridge, and cable TV. It was a bit small, though, for our portable crib, and I would probably go for a larger room next stay. Beyond that, though, everything about our stay was enjoyable. The service was very good, and the staff was very family oriented. The amenities were amazing and included an indoor water park, an outdoor pool, an outdoor water play area for younger children, a playground, a movie theater with free nightly family movies, a volleyball net, picnic area and benches throughout, and even a pond stocked with fish. The only thing not included was breakfast, but we ate at the onsite Route 50 Diner, which had a 1950's feel. It has very good food for breakfast and lunch (the funnel cake donuts were amazing!) at affordable prices. The resort is only a 2-3 minute drive to Downtown Ocean City, and the resort even offers free shuttle service to the boardwalk and beach area. If you like shopping, it's also located directly across the street to Tanger Outlets, which has countless discount name brand stores. If you have a family and are planning on staying in Ocean City, I highly recommend Francis Scott Key Resort.
