We enjoyed our stay at Beaches Ocho Rios:

Pros:
-The kids camp was wonderful and staff were kind and caring. (We brought out 8 month old)
-The resort had well maintained landscaping and we witnessed employees doing deep cleaning of the property numerous times.
-Rooms were spacious and clean. We got the least expensive room and it looked to be bigger and just as nice as the more expensive rooms that we walked by near the beach. (These more expensive rooms also had less privacy as guests literally walk/on by their patio.)
-Staff was friendly and attentive
-Pools were clean and not crowded.
-Bar staff were generous on amount of alcohol in mixed drinks- not skimpy at all!
-Definitely kid friendly- they had Sesame Shows often

PS. In our opinion, 4 days at the resort is long enough, especially with an infant, unless you have the opportunity to do a lot of excursions off the resort. We got bored after a few days since we couldn't do many excursions with our baby. We did one excursion and left her at the kids camp- The catamaran to Dunn River Falls which was wonderful.
The island is not a very safe island so I don't recommend doing anything off the resort unless booking through them. I personally won't be going back to Jamaica.

Cons:
-Noise at night - One night (Friday) there was music so loud that ran until 4am! At a kids resort! We went to bed and the music was on- loudly with bass thumping- and I figured okay it'll be off soon- even could easily hear it with our noise machine on at max. Woke at 4 am to nurse our infant and it was still on. Only shortly after did it stop. I think this is ridiculous for a kid friendly resort- thankfully the baby slept through it thanks to our noise machine near her head!
-Food: Terrible! Everything was cooked to our satisfaction but the quality was lacking/cheap.
-Drinks: Beer choices only included 3. (2 were Red Stripe - Jamaican Beer, and Heineken)
-Mixed drinks: The juice mixers tasted horrible- The juice was cheap, sugary substitutes. (The amount of alcohol they gave you in a drink was generous though.)
-Free excursions: Although nice that they have them, they were rushed and short. It seemed, in our opinion, like a lure to get you to pay for a longer, actual excursion.
