Up until recently, I was practically a never-nude. If you had told me I would have enjoyed a place like this I would have never believed you. Something in the back of my mind told me to just go for it, and I honestly believe it has changed my life for the better!

All of the fellow bathhouse users have been nothing but friendly and respectful. I have never felt judged or uncomfortable in my handful of times going here. If the need arises, there are staff on hand that roam the grounds that you can alert and they will take care of it. I believe it is everyone's responsibility to help keep this a safe and respectable zone where everyone can just relax and exist as they are.

Everett House is pretty big with multiple buildings and two separate outdoor areas. Both buildings have showers and locker rooms. The main building is a talking-permitted zone and in my experience is more heavily trafficked. If you prefer more privacy and quiet, you can get changed in the main locker room and then immediately exit outside (wearing a towel) into the second building. The second building has showers (a little bit more cramped than the main building but there is a divider), a steam room, and a small hobbit-sized sauna, all of which I have frequently had to myself even during busy hours.

I highly recommend this experience to everyone. So much so that I got the unlimited 90-minute spa club membership. At $125 per month you only need to go 5 times a month to make it worth it which seems very doable. In addition, you also can bring a guest with you and they get 50% off every time. There can be a long waitlist during busy hours but a membership lets you call ahead and reserve space which is really nice.

They hold your camera and ID upfront which is a very smart move, and thus no photos.

Cast your American puritanical inhibitions aside and try this place out!
